It is currently summer, ladies and gents, and that means chilling at home and catching up on some super awesome TV shows on Netflix that you weren’t able to keep up with during the school year! Right? Eh, a little…
Don’t get me wrong, I am obsessed with watching Netflix. But, it’s definitely not something I enjoy doing ALL summer long. So, here are a few fun things that I like to do during the summer, that you can do too, that don’t include watching the new season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt:
#1 PICNICS: Okay, so a picnic might not be the most exciting thing, but it’s definitely relaxing. Early summer and late spring is the best time to have a picnic with friends! I honestly love making fun food and then packing it in a basket and finding a super cool place to just sit with all my friends. It’s the best!
#2 PAINT TWISTER & EGG ROULETTE: For those who don’t know what paint twister is… It’s basically exactly what you think. You put washable paint on a twister board and play! Now Egg Roulette is a little messier, but I totally recommend it! You take as many eggs as you need (in my case, we took 12 eggs) and boil half of them and leave the other half raw, put them all in a bowl and then go around in circle and smash one on your head! Last year my friends and I did both of these activities because once you’re messy, why not get messier?
#3 BOWLING: Last but not least, bowling is an awesome way to get out of your house, away from the laptop or tv, and just spend a few hours with close friends! I have already gone bowling 2-3 times this summer with friends and with family members. It’s just a great way to hang out and eat and drink and just have fun, with a little competition!
So, those are just a few activities to do during the summer that don’t include binge watching Netflix to get your mind off of Who is A, Ross saying Rachel’s name instead of Emily’s, and when the 4th season of Orange is the New Black is coming onto Netflix (June 17th by the way!!) Peace out!
