As an Animal Educator II at SeaWorld Orlando, my daily job is to share fun, quirky, entertaining, quality educational information about the animals living in the park, and those who are visiting for rehabilitation and medical support. I am responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable environment for the animals and guests. I work everyday to translate my passion for these beautiful and powerful creatures into unique experiences for our guests. On a regular basis, I host our guests in small-group backstage, immersive tours that provide our guests with close-up and individual experiences with belugas, walruses, orcas, turtles and manatees.
My daily duties include playing with turtles, talking to dolphins, blowing kisses to beluga whales, and clapping for the Orca whales. I know all of their names and their personalities. I am responsible for protecting them, and loving on them, and sharing my passion for these amazing animals with SeaWorld park guests. I provide unique experiences and I impart knowledge to guests that will ensure our guests leave our park with a desire to learn more about these animals, and ways we can all work together to keep them safe and protected. SeaWorld’s conservation and rehabilitation are impacting our oceans and saving our wildlife, and I believe in the cause. My daily mission aligns with SeaWorld’s, “to help our guests, and the world, explore the wonders around them, and then inspire them to take action to protect wild animals and wild places.”
